Job Summary:

Sweitzer HVAC & Plumbing is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and plumbing systems. This role is critical to ensuring our clients receive timely and effective service, maintaining the high standards our company is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent future issues.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate assessments and solutions.
• Educate customers on system operations, maintenance tips, and potential upgrades to improve efficiency and comfort.
• Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future service.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Keep company vehicles and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to the Service Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with all work performed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in HVAC and/or plumbing service.
• Valid certifications or licenses as required by state and local regulations.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for both HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to customers in an understandable manner.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy tools, equipment, and materials (up to 50 pounds).
• Comfortable working in various environments, including tight spaces, heights, and extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
